Medical Device Labels

The medical device industry is as demanding as they come. They must not only meet each Regulatory Authority specified content that must be present on every device’s labeling, but also withstand harsh cleaning chemicals. Medical device labels must hold up, and so we use superior substrates and process to make sure they do just that. 

At ECI we have extensive knowledge and experience with these FDA requirements. We work closely with our customers’ engineers to produce and test combinations of digitally printed labels using sub-surface printing, top surface printing, clear varnishes, clear overlaminates, and other techniques.  

Safety & Hazardous Waste Labeling 

Hazardous waste labeling provides important information for quick visual notation to alert the user, providing immediate recognition of hazards.

Manufactured by silkscreening or digital printing, our nameplates and labels can be produced in sheets, rolls, or fan folded.

Water Proof & Durable Extreme Environment labeling 

Knowing the environmental conditions that your labels will be exposed to will largely impact the selection of its adhesive, substrates and overlaminates, resulting in adhesion for the lifetime of your product. Environmental conditions include temperature (especially extreme heat or cold), exposure to dirt, dust and debris, humidity/water, as well as exposure to the sun’s UV rays. 

Surface affection testing relates to whether a label’s surface withstands scratching, chemicals, or other abrasive materials. Some customers require a test as part of the label’s qualification process.
